Nowhere Borders – Diari del Conflitto
It’s Nønløsô’s project: a work of documentary and street photography that follows conflict — and not only the kind you see in the streets.
We like to think of ourselves as integrated. Settled into a place, a role, a routine. Most of the time that’s the story we tell ourselves, and mostly we believe it.
Not everyone carries that contradiction the same way, though. Some expose it outright — in marches, in banners, in bodies that occupy a square to say the arrangement doesn’t hold. Others never say it at all. You catch it instead in something smaller: a look that drifts off mid-sentence, a pause held a second too long, someone stepping half out of the room they’re still standing in.
Nowhere Borders follows both. The declared conflict and the quiet one. The person on a barricade and the person who has simply, briefly, left the scene without leaving it.
A diary of contradictions — the ones we shout, and the ones we barely manage to keep hidden.
